Electropuncture diagnostics

Electropuncture diagnostics

Electropuncture diagnostics is a hardware diagnostic method based on measuring the electrical potential at acupuncture points. The author of the technique is the German doctor Reinhard Voll.

Depending on the disturbance in the functioning of any internal organ, the electrical potential at acupuncture points changes. Each point is responsible for the functioning of a specific organ; they are usually located on the fingers and toes.

Diagnostics using R. Voll’s method proceeds as follows: the doctor applies a probe electrode to points on the patient’s body. The electrode acts on the point with a very weak current, and the device measures the change in skin resistance at the point. To evaluate the readings, a scale of 100 units is used, the norm is readings of 50-65 units - this indicates that the organ is healthy. Readings above the norm of 70 indicate an inflammatory process, and if the reading is less than 50, the organ is “deprived of strength.”

The advantages of electropuncture diagnostics are:

  • this is a quick and complete examination of the patient, on average it takes from 15 to 60 minutes;
  • this is an early diagnosis of diseases, when there are no obvious symptoms yet, but the disease has already begun its development in the body or there is a predisposition to it;
  • helps to identify the causes that disrupt the normal functioning of the body;
  • finds organs or systems that primarily need support;
  • helps determine tolerance to food, cosmetics, jewelry, stones, which also affect the body;
  • monitors the effectiveness of treatment, etc.

Contraindications to electropuncture diagnostics are:

  • the patient has a pacemaker;
  • skin pathology in the projection of measurement points;
  • increased sensitivity to electric current and mechanical stress, etc.

In addition to diagnostics using the R. Voll method, there are also:

  • Diagnostics using the Malykhin device - a unique diagnosis of the whole organism, allowing to evaluate 117 parameters of the body’s vital functions, including diagnostics: the chemical composition of the blood, the presence of vital microelements, lipid metabolism, the functioning of the enzymatic system, the circulation of oxygen and carbon dioxide gas in organs and tissues, indicators of the endocrine system and other important indicators.
  • Diagnostics using the Nakatani method uses the relationship between skin conductivity at certain points and the state of human functional systems. The Nakatani method is indicated for: integral assessment of the functional state of acupuncture meridians, organs and systems of the body; dynamic monitoring of health status; drawing up an individual reflex treatment plan and assessing the effectiveness of treatment.
