Medical baths

Therapeutic baths - procedures in which the body is exposed to water for therapeutic, preventive or hygienic purposes. There are different types of baths: mineral, iodine-bromine, pearl, vortex, carbon dioxide , conifers, etc.

Therapeutic baths are used for many diseases: skin, neurological, respiratory system diseases, metabolic disorders and gastrointestinal problems, pathologies of the musculoskeletal system, female and male diseases and many others. In the bath, the body steams, the blood begins to circulate faster, beneficial substances penetrate deep into the pores and have a maximum effect on the person.

The most common contraindications are skin diseases in the acute stage, low blood pressure, pregnancy. However, in each case (for each type of bath) there are indications and contraindications. Therefore, only the attending physician can prescribe this treatment. In addition, baths may differ in temperature, duration of use, concentration of substances and intensity of the procedure.
