Dry backbone traction

Traction therapy (backbone traction) - an indispensable method for the treatment and prevention of various spine diseases starting from pain with radiculitis to the intervertebral hernia. The procedure helps to get rid of muscle spasms, pinching of the nerve roots, to remove the displacement of the vertebrae, allows to relieve the spine.

Traction therapy is usually appointed by doctors in the health resorts of Belarus in a dry or underwater extension, horizontal or vertical way.
Special couches are used for dry spinal traction, they allow to do a dosed stretching in combination with a vibrating massage. The simultaneous impact on the spine of several methods guarantees its effectiveness!

While horizontal dry spinal traction the patient is placed on a special couch or table, his body is fixed with straps that tighten the trunk, the legs should be slightly elevated, and a pair of rollers move along the spinal column. The traction force is regulated individually by the doctor on the computer, taking into account the characteristics of the disease.
During the dry spinal traction session, the spine is unloaded by increasing the space between the vertebrae and joints. The muscles relax, the pressure inside the intervertebral discs decreases, so the pain goes away! This procedure allows you to remove the pinching of the nerve root, for example, with radiculitis.

Traction therapy is used to rehabilitate patients who have undergone operations of the musculoskeletal system, as well as to restore the joints and muscles after theirlong-lastiing immobility. Doctors in the health resorts of Belarus note improved circulation after the course of procedures. Due to this, tissue regeneration occurs much faster, muscle hypertonicity and pain sensation disappear.
Traction therapy is recommended to combine with other methods of treatment - drug therapy, manual therapy and others.

Traction therapy is prescribed for treatment of osteochondrosis, some types of herniation of the intervertebral disc, sciatica, treatment of scoliosis, kyphoscoliosis and other diseases.
