Curative mud in the form galvanic mud treatments in health resorts of Belarus

Curative mud in the form galvanic mud treatments

Galvanic mud treatments is a method of treatment based on a combination of electric current and the effect of heated medical mud. Due to the good electrical conductivity of mud, its chemical effect in combination with current is enhanced. As a result of galvanization, the healing elements of mud penetrate more actively into the tissues of the body and enrich them with useful components. As a result, galvanotherapy has an anti-inflammatory, metabolic and regenerative effect.
Procedure is recommended for patients with dermatological diseases, chronic inflammatory diseases of the genitourinary system, diseases of the central and peripheral nervous system, respiratory system. Galvanotherapy is carried out using mud in smaller quantities and at lower temperatures, as a result, it's easier tolerated by patients. The duration of galvanotherapy is 20-30 minutes.
